
Case Study: Successful Google Ads Campaign for a Dentist by Digital Marketing Plug

Campaign Period: May 14th to June 1st
Objective: Increase leads and patients traffic to the clinic
Summary:
Luxe Dental wanted more patients for their dental service and decided to try google ads. From what they had done before, their ads were deemed ineligible and their website was flagged by google for having bugs.
We stepped in, fixed the website errors, and appealed to revert the restriction by google
We then set up conversions tracking on the website and created a campaign with a conversions objective considering the amount of data that has been captured by Google analytics in the past..
We did a little research and discovered high intent keywords, with which we optimized the advertising campaign for.
We created multiple ad groups, one for each service, and tested multiple ads till we got our best performers.
We added a few assets on the ad, including a call extension that enabled people to call the clinic directly from search results.
These were the key results
Key Results:
- Leads: The campaign garnered a total of 32 leads during the specified period. The leads were categorized as follows:
– Dental Implants: 10 leads
– Braces: 13 leads
– Teeth Whitening: 9 leads
- Call Extension Clicks: The campaign received 213 clicks to the Call extension. The distribution of these clicks across the lead categories is as follows:
– Dental Implants: 113 clicks
– Braces: 16 clicks
– Teeth Whitening: 68 clicks
Which resulted in about 55 calls recorded
- Cost per Lead: The average cost per lead currently stands at $6.61
Facebook Ads:
In addition to the successful Google Ads campaign, Digital Marketing Plug also ran Facebook Ads to further boost leads and engagement.
Results:
- Total Leads: The Facebook Ads contributed to the generation of 46 leads in total.
- Warm Audience Leads: Out of the 46 leads, 9 were generated from the warm audience, which consisted of retargeted traffic from individuals who had previously visited the dental clinic’s website and Instagram page.
- Cold Audience Leads: The majority of leads, 36 in total, were generated from the cold audience, indicating successful targeting and outreach to new potential clients.
Conclusion:
Digital Marketing Plug’s Google Ads campaign for the dental clinic proved to be successful.
From our interactions with the clinic, we confirmed 20 patients who visited the clinic via the Google ad that same month.
Overall, the collaborative efforts of Digital Marketing Plug and the dental clinic have proven to be a winning strategy, successfully attracting potential clients and driving increased engagement with the clinic’s services.
